The City, Chamber and Convention & Visitors Bureau host several sporting events at Winged Deer Park. The USSSA (United States Specialty Sports Association) 13 & Under AA Baseball World Series presented by Food City on July 13 – 19 had 9 teams participating. Beginning July 27th, 37 girls’ softball teams will participate in the ASA (Amateur Softball Association) Class 10: U Class A Fast Pitch National Championship. The tournament runs through August 2nd and we are estimating a $1 million economic impact for our community.
